Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on Perry County Criminal History. Using the website indicates agreement with all terms below. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We exist to help visitors find criminal-record resources in Perry County and Kentucky. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

Perry County Criminal History is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for a visitor.

The content identifies official custodians, including the Perry Circuit Court Clerk, local law enforcement, Kentucky River Regional Jail, Kentucky State Police Records Division, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following restrictions:

  • Do not interfere with the site's performance or another person's access
  • Do not run bots, scraping software, or automated collection tools
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to any system
  • Do not use site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
  • Do not stalk, threaten, or harass anyone with information found here
  • Do not violate federal, Kentucky, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or discriminate against another person. Misuse may violate the law. The Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry exists for community safety, and registry information must not be used for vigilantism, harassment, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination. KRS 17.580 governs Kentucky's public registry.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Perry County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. The site and its advertising partners do not offer tools designed to assess applicants, renters, insurance risk, or credit. Site or linked-tool data may not be used to:

  • Carry out any other purpose regulated by the FCRA
  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
  • Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
  • Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
  • Make a hiring or firing decision

A legally permitted check for a regulated purpose must come from Kentucky State Police Records Division when authorized or from a service that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Kentucky attorney can advise how a warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement law affects a particular person.

6. No Warranties

All content and functions are offered "as is," without a guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, access limits, and expungement status can change. Content may therefore contain gaps or lag behind the official record. Nothing published here is an official statement from a court or government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Outbound links may lead to courts, law-enforcement offices, state agencies, legal resources, or commercial search services. Those destinations control their own content, prices, availability, privacy, and terms. Perry County Criminal History is not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Perry County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the greatest extent allowed by law, Perry County Criminal History disclaims liability for damages arising from the site, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the site harmless from claims or demands caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located in Kentucky. The Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, applies to Kentucky public agencies and does not make this private site a government records custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms become effective when the new version is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed for enforcement.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
