About Perry County Criminal History

Perry County criminal records are divided among several public offices. The Circuit Court Clerk keeps the local case file, law enforcement keeps its own reports, Kentucky River Regional Jail handles booking records, and Kentucky State Police maintains statewide history and registry systems. This private reference site organizes those official routes so readers can identify the custodian, locate the right public resource, and verify a record at its source.

Why We Built This Site

Kentucky provides several public access routes, but each answers a different question. Perry Circuit Court Clerk maintains Circuit and District Court files. The arresting agency owns its report, while Kentucky River Regional Jail creates the booking record. Kentucky State Police maintains the central criminal-history repository and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry, and the Department of Corrections operates KOOL. We collect the official contacts, portal links, request steps, and documented costs for those separate systems.

  • Official check walkthroughs: how KSP name-based checks and authorized IdentoGO fingerprint checks work

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to a Kentucky court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Its role has clear limits:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot promise that an agency's phone, fee, address, or procedure has not changed

Only the office that maintains a record can issue or certify it. Perry County Criminal History can identify that office, but the document must come from the custodian.

Search Partners

Search boxes on some pages are supplied by outside providers. Those providers control their own services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports site operation. Perry County Criminal History does not control the provider's charges or the contents of its results.
